I’m a fully qualified, registered online counsellor based in the UK, and I have created this really successful 6 week course.

This gentle, 6-week one-to-one online course is for adult children of a narcissistic parent who are ready to understand what really happened, break free from guilt and people-pleasing, and begin healing in a safe, supportive space. With weekly private zoom sessions, practical tools, and compassionate guidance from a qualified therapist who truly gets it, you’ll learn to set boundaries without shame, calm your nervous system, and finally feel like you, not who they wanted you to be.

How it works:

Week 1: Understand the narcissistic parent

Understand your parent, why they treat you and others the way they do, and make sense of what happened to you. See their behaviour for what it truly is. By the end of the first session, you will know if your parent is a narcissist or not.

Week 2: The games they play

See the manipulation for what it is. Understand their behaviour and the games they play, and learn how to protect yourself so they no longer confuse or control you.

Week 3: Discover the hidden impact your parent has had on you

We will gently explore the hidden wounds of this complex trauma and it’s long term effects such as shame, relationships, people pleasing, and feeling disconnected from yourself, and why none of this is your fault.

Week 4: Begin to heal

Together, we’ll explore soothing, nourishing ways to begin regulating your nervous system, reconnect and feel safer in your body, and rebuilding your sense of self.

Week 5: Overcome people pleasing and start setting boundaries with your parent, without the guilt

We work on setting boundaries and saying no guilt-free, and learning how to disappoint others without abandoning yourself. Yes, it’s possible.

Week 6: Navigate the relationship safely

You’ll learn realistic, safe ways to handle family interactions without losing yourself in the process. You don’t have to cut your parent off (unless you want to). Whether you decide to stay in contact or go no-contact, we can create a plan that protects your peace and puts you in charge.
